On the 8th of October , Sir Stelios and his team ( David Watson , Kerim Fuad , Piter Millet ) met with the leader of the Turkish Cypriot community , Mustafa Akinci , at his office in North Nicosia.
They updated the president on the current ongoing activities of the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation , that aim in mainting lasting peace on the island of Cyprus , such as the yearly bi-communal awards , which are rewarding any form of co-operation between Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots .
Another project of similar aim that was organised last year in collaboration with the Monaco based Peace & Sport organisation , was a friendly football match between Magusa FC and Ammochostos FC , with the presence of Didier Drogba and the president of Cyprus mr Anastasiades.
