On the occasion of World Maritime Day, CYMEPA and the Representation of the European Commission in Cyprus organized today a Beach Cleaning of Akti Olympion B’ in Limassol.
The event was under the auspices of the Environment Commissioner Ms Klelia Vasiliou and was supported by the Municipality of Limassol.
CYMEPA members and the following took part: CYPRUS SHIPPING CHAMBER (CSC), WISTA Cyprus, YOUNGSHIP Cyprus, CMMI, MASTER MARINERS ASSCIATION, LIMASSOL MARINA, DP WORLD LIMASSOL, AKTI and ENALIA PHYSIS.
Stelios Philanthropic Foundation sponsored the caps, T-shirts, gloves and refreshments for the about 100 volunteers that attended the event.
