10 out of the 34 bi-communal teams will win awards totaling €200,000
For the 14th year, Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot entrepreneurs embraced the Bi-communal Awards and submitted their joint application, competing for the €20,000 cash prize (€10,000 per entrepreneur – member of the two-person team), which will be provided to each of the top 10 business proposals by Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, Founder and Owner of the easy family of brands (see www.easycom & www.easyHistory.info) and Founder and President of the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation (https://steliosfoundation.com.cy/).
The Awards Ceremony will take place on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. The 20 winners (10 winning teams) will gather at the Central Offices of the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation at 5 Markou Drakou Street in Nicosia, where they will meet virtually with the founder of the Awards, Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, presenting their proposals, which will be awarded.
The ceremony will be accessible via Zoom for all teams that competed for the award, as well as representatives of the media.
It is worth noting that the “Stelios Bi – Communal Awards for Business Co-operation 2024” contribute to encouraging business activities between Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots, with the ultimate goal of establishing lasting peace on the island.
Since the inception of the institution in 2009 until today, the total value of the Intercommunal Cooperation Awards, including this year’s amount, amounts to €4,390,000.

The goal of the non-profit Stelios Philanthropic Foundation is to contribute to society by supporting philanthropic activities in Cyprus, Greece, the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, and Monaco, countries where Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou lives and operates.
